The Neon Lit Reading Series began in 2009 and is run by the MFA and PhD students of UNLV’s Creative Writing Program. Each reading features writing and performances by current UNLV students and alumni. The writers at UNLV are creating pieces across all genres, and perform them as they please every month.

Effective June 1, Las Vegas has removed all restrictions involving capacity limits, large gatherings and more.
In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community, effective July 30, the State of Nevada has mandated that everyone, including fully vaccinated individuals, wear a mask in public indoor settings in counties with substantial or high transmission, including Las Vegas. The directive aligns with the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance related to mask requirements.
